    Experience:

    Since 2009 till now : Professor in  crop science and plant genetics.

    2008 -  1997  : Associate professor, Head department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of Gezira, Wad Medani, Sudan. Teaching the theortical and practical aspects of range management, principles of crop production, Oil and pulse crops, weeds and weed management, to under-graduate and graduate students.

    1996 - 1994 : Assisstant professor, crop production department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Omer ElMukhtar, Libya. Teaching the theoritical and the practical aspects of weeds and weed control, crop rotation and replanting, classification of field crops, Herbicide application.

    1994-1987 : Assisstant professor, crop production department, college of Agricultural Studies, University of Sudan for Science and Technology. Teaching the theoritical and the practical aspects of range and fodder production and crop Production for the 3 year diploma and the B.Sc. Degree, students.

    1988-1987 : On secondment, general manager for Marahab sunflower agricultural project at Eldamazin. Technical supervision for 20 thousand feddans cultivated with sunflower crop under rainfed condition. Administring the field work from A to Z through close supervision.

    1987-1986 : Lecturer at crop production department, Shambat division for Agricultural Technicans, Polytechnic Institute, Khartoum, Sudan. Head department of animal production. Visiting lecturer, Kuku division for Vet. Technicans, Khartoum Polytechnic, Sudan.

    1985-1982 : Researcher plant sciences department on my own reseasrch (Ph.D) at the University of Arizona, Arizona State, USA.

    1982-1980 : Reseach Assistant, plant science department on my own research (M.Sc.) at the University of Arizona, USA.

    1979-1977 : Teaching assisstant, college of Agricultural studies, Sudan University of Science and Technology. Teaching the practical aspects of field crops. Manager to the farm of Shambat divison for Agricultural Technicans.

    1977-1974 : Inspector, Ministry of Agriculture, Sudan. department of soil conservation, land use and water programming.
