Accompanied by other colleagues we managed to finger print a unique, well advanced patient-oriented curriculum. The new curriculum was the first attempt in changing and upgrading the pharmacy education in the Sudan that conforming to the new global concept of pharmacy education. The core content of this syllabus was adopted by the Committee of Medical and Health Sciences (Ministry of Higher Education) as a model for the accreditation of other faculties of pharmacy in the country.
I have been exclusively engaged in building the diversified infrastructure of the Faculty in terms of buildings, equipment, chemicals and staff training that rating the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Gezira as a fast growing professional institution compared to others in the Sudan.
In the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Gezira we had managed in pioneering the Sudan first Postgraduate Program of Master Degree in Pharmacy through taught courses and partial research that gives good chances for academic as well as professional development of pharmacists in Sudan.
Through academic qualification I am advocating implementation of Pharmacy Practice as a center of excellence in the academic as well as professional aspects. This offered a good chance to be nominated in examining & supervising different academic & research programs in this field for under & postgraduate Sudanese students in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Gezira and other relevant local, regional & international institutions.
